The Executive Office of the Secretary-General (EOSG) supports the Secretary-General in setting policy, exercising executive direction and coordinating the UN. It supports engagement with UN organs, Governments, delegations, civil society, media and the public; coordinates political, peace, development, humanitarian, human rights and management priorities; prepares speeches, statements and briefings; and delivers protocol, liaison and administrative support. EOSG helps align the UN family behind the Secretary-General’s vision and priorities.
