I am writing to apply for the Programme Officer position with UNICEF. With experience in programme coordination, digital communications and data-informed planning across international settings, I would bring a practical and collaborative approach to supporting programmes that improve outcomes for children and communities.
In my recent work, I have translated complex priorities into clear delivery plans, coordinated input from colleagues and external stakeholders, and used performance data to strengthen decisions. At the International Road Transport Union, I managed digital communications and reporting for stakeholder campaigns and events. This required careful organisation, sound judgement and the ability to present technical information in an accessible way. I approach deadlines methodically and keep colleagues informed of risks, decisions and next steps so that delivery remains transparent, realistic and responsive. Earlier roles also gave me hands-on experience with CRM workflows, content strategy and process improvement.
I am particularly drawn to this opportunity because it combines programme delivery with analysis and partnership. I would be comfortable maintaining workplans, monitoring progress, preparing concise briefs and following up across teams to keep activities on track. I also understand the importance of inclusive communication, accountability and evidence in the UN system. My international management studies and professional experience in Switzerland and India have strengthened my ability to work thoughtfully across cultures and adapt to different institutional contexts.
