Your responsibilities

  • Participate in the production, testing and installation of the Pixel Outer System services and their support structures (e.g. trolleys).
  • Support the design, manufacturing and installation of temporary services and infrastructure for testing during the integration of the Pixel Detector.
  • Participate hands-on in the integration of the Pixel Outer System and its insertion into ITk in the SR1 cleanroom, contributing to the development and fabrication of the corresponding tooling.
  • Participate in the ITk installation in the ATLAS cavern, supporting preparation of Pixel services for installation as well as connections after insertion.
  • Document manufacturing and installation procedures as well QC information of tools and production parts to ensure traceability.
