In response to what was stated by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on the Malvinas Island, I wanted to remind you that the Malvinas Islands, South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands and the surrounding areas are part of the national territory of Argentina, illegally occupied by the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, are the subject of a sovereignty dispute between the two countries, recognized by the United Nations and by other international organizations.
The Republic of Argentina reaffirms its legitimate sovereignty right on the Malvinas Islands, South Georgia, and South Sandwich Islands, and the surrounding maritime areas, which are part and parcel of national Argentinian territory through its under law and based on history, Argentine Malvinas Argentine territory.
