Mr. President, my delegation would like to once again exercise a right of reply following the statement delivered by the representative of Sudan. Chad once again categorically rejects with the greatest firmness these absolutely groundless allegations. Chad has already responded to the report that was alluded to, which provides no material evidence and which does nothing but peddle allegations that come from dubious sources. We reiterate that ever since this war was declared, we've been unswervingly upholding our neutrality. We also wish to reaffirm that our territory has never been used, nor has our infrastructure been used by any of the parties to the conflict. Mr. President, ladies and gentlemen, Chad has itself been the victim of the war in Sudan, as we're feeling the brunt of the consequences, both humanitarian, socioeconomic, but also security consequences. Since April of 2023, over one and a half million Sudanese refugees crossed our eastern border. fleeing a deadly conflict. What's more is the territory of Chad has not been spared from attacks linked to the Sudanese conflict. Another attack was recently recorded linked to the Sudan conflict. Chad firmly condemns these new incursions. These are and an unacceptable violation of our territorial integrity, we reserve the right to take all the necessary measures in accordance with international law, with a view to protecting our sovereignty in case these attacks were to be repeated.
