Thank you, Mr. President, for giving me the floor. My delegation is taking the exercise of right of reply in response to the statement made by Japan. We categorically reject the absurd remark made by Japan. It is a shameful and brazen faced for Japan to spread deceptive and false narratives in this August forum. Japan, a world criminal state, is accelerating its transformation into a world state against the background of growing geopolitical tensions and block confrontation. In line with the updated 2026 defense white paper, Japan is frantically enforcing militarist policies such as the highest ever military expenditure, introduction of AI into the self-defense force commanding system, and reshuffle of the structure of the Ministry of Defense, to name just a few. On the other hand, it is widely known that Japan formulated the possession of preemptive attack capabilities by revising the national security strategy in 2022 and is now speeding up purchase and development of long-range missiles. While hellbent on deploying long-range strike means, Japan is equally involved in bilateral and multilateral joint military exercises with the United States and its vessel forces. To all intents and purposes, such Japan's moves are aimed at rounding off its real war capabilities against the DPRK and other neighboring countries. What is worse, the political circles in Japan are spelling out such extremely bellicose remarks as a nuclear sharing with the United States, possession of nuclear submarines, and reexamination of the three non-nuclear principles. Japan in public talks about the world without nuclear weapons under the signboard of the world's only atomic-bombed country, and actually behind the scenes works hard to go nuclear. Such shameless and double-faced act of Japan is the greatest threat to be rejected by international community with a vigilance. Japan has so far described itself as a peace-loving nation in the international arenas, while branding neighboring countries' measures for bolstering up their self-defense capabilities as threats and provocations. It is now clear that such moves were and are, after all, a camouflage tactic to cover up its moves for remilitarization. No matter how hard Japan tries to camouflage its real intention for aggression as defense, It will never conceal its true colors as a root cause of endangering peace and escalating tensions in the region. Japan remains an enemy state in the Charter of the United Nations. It is shameful and ridiculous for Japan to call for the deletion of such clause in the Charter of the United Nations. The international community should sharpen vigilance against and strongly oppose and reject Japan's increasingly dangerous neo-militarist moves to seriously destroy regional peace and security.
