President, my delegation wishes to exercise its right of reply following the remarks issued a few moments ago by the representative of Sudan. First of all, My delegation recalls that the position held by Chad regarding the war in Sudan was reaffirmed clearly during the statement issued by Chad before this Assembly on 22 September 2026, following the remarks made by the representative of Sudan. I wish to once again recall the following: The war in Sudan has now entered its fourth year. allegations lacking any basis are repeatedly reiterated by the representative of Sudan in international fora or relayed through media outlets. They seek to install ideas according to which Chad would be involved in one way or another in the conflict in Sudan. That's the narrative they're trying to push. We categorically reject in the strongest terms these fallacious allegations. Chad recalls that since the onset of this war, we have remained stringently in adherence with the principle of neutrality. That remains unchanged. we in no case authorize the use of our national territory or our infrastructure to further the interests of any party to the conflict underway in Sudan. Since the onset of this war, the Sudanese war, Chad has ceaselessly called the warring parties to cease hostilities, to facilitate unfettered humanitarian access to the millions of civilians that have fallen victim to this war, and to heed the countless appeals of the international community that have thus far remained unheeded, appeals for a dialogue which should bring about a solution to this war. Finally, Chad reaffirms its unstinting commitment to peace in Sudan and we are closely following any initiative aiming to bring about dialogue between the warring parties with a view to putting an end to the conflict. Chad is suffering from that very same. Thank you.
